Process

Layer by layer.

From the surface to the final sheen. Each step has its own time and its own gesture.

[steps and materials to be confirmed]

Step 1

Prepare

The wall is cleaned, repaired and levelled. Everything starts on a firm base.

A smooth, continuous surface ready to receive plaster.

Step 2

Prepare the base

A base coat readies the surface to receive the plaster.

A gloved hand with a trowel working damp plaster.

Step 3

First layers

Thin layers, applied with a trowel, crossing the gesture. One at a time.

Plaster being applied to a wall with a trowel.

Step 4

The gesture

The trowel glides, presses, smooths. This is where the wall's pattern is born.

Cream marmorino plaster with the soft mark of the trowel.

Step 5

Polish

The surface is polished until it gains depth and a soft sheen.

Polished forest-green plaster with veins and reflections.

Step 6

Wax

Wax protects and gives the final touch. From here on, the light glides.

Plaster samples in several colours on a wooden table.
